Lixel K2
The Lixel K2 is the lightweight, ready-to-go handheld spatial scanner in the XGRIDS range, designed to make engineering-grade capture easy to deploy. Integrated RTK means you carry a single device instead of a scanner plus an external module. It succeeds the Lixel K1, and at roughly 1.2 kg including its battery and base it weighs less than half as much as the flagship Lixel L3, which makes it a practical choice for walking surveys, repeat capture and teams that move frequently between sites.
XGRIDS positions the K2 around measurement accuracy within 1 cm and point-cloud thickness as thin as 1 cm. Its multi-SLAM spatial-perception system combines a 200,000 points/s LiDAR, two fisheye cameras, a forward-facing camera and integrated RTK. A single scan can provide a real-time point cloud for on-site assurance, a post-processed point cloud for engineering deliverables, a textured mesh and a 3D Gaussian Splatting reconstruction.

Compact, but still true colour
True-colour capture remains usable in low light, supported by XGRIDS colourisation and processing, so interior scans still produce a colourised point cloud. The removable battery attaches to the bottom of the scanner and can be swapped on site, so you can continue scanning with a spare.

When to choose the K2
Choose the K2 when 1 cm measurement accuracy meets your brief and a lower weight improves productivity in the field. It suits small-to-medium projects and individual assets. If your deliverables demand 5 mm relative accuracy, a built-in display or the longest scan range, look at the Lixel L3 or Lixel L2 Pro instead.
